Please save the date now: Saturday, March 29, 2025. This date is the celebration of CSDHH's 50 years of partnership and service to the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, and Late Deafened community.
We want to use this opportunity to bring everyone together, so please save this date and plan to join us! The event will be at Piedmont Hall, next to the Greensboro Coliseum, from 3:00pm-9:00pm. Tickets sales will begin this fall of 2024, and more information will be announced soon.

Participants must be wearing a costume, and numbers will be handed out to pin on the costume for judging.
Steel Hands employees will be the judges and judging will take place during trivia
There are 3 categories: scariest, most creative, and funniest. Costumes will be judged individually (no group costumes). One winner from each category will receive a $25 Steel Hands gift card
Trivia will begin between 6:30pm and 7:00pm
Trivia is free to play
Teams of up to 6 people
There will be 4 rounds, 10 questions each
One round will be led by a Deaf guest host - Tina Everhart!
All rounds will be Halloween-themed
There will be prizes for winning teams

Our September Sip & Sign will be at LeBauer Park, in downtown Greensboro during the NC Folk Festival! We’ll meet on Friday, September 6 at 6:00pm.
For the past two years, we've hosted a Signing Social at the NC Folk Festival, which is a free event in downtown Greensboro with ASL-interpreted performances! At LeBauer Park there are two great kiosks: Lawn Service, serving beer, wine, and drinks, and Parkside Pull-Up, serving burgers, hotdogs, and fries. And that evening there will be an ASL-interpreted music performance at the LeBauer park stage!

We have exciting news to share! On August 3rd, we're hosting a free presentation from the non-profit You Can Vote. The presentation will be from 11:00am-12:30pm, in the same building as CSDHH. Learn more and RSVP at csdhh.org/votereducation.
The presentation will talk about how to register to vote (and will help you get registered if you're not), your rights as a vote, what the ballot will look like and what each office does, and other requirements and information related to voting.
This presentation does *not* support any political party, issue, or candidate. The goal is provide accessible, accurate, and neutral information to ensure you feel confident and ready to vote.
