ASL Tour of NC Museum of Art

If you haven't been to the NC Museum of Art, now's your chance for a tour in ASL!

Come explore To Take Shape and Meaning: Form and Design in Contemporary American Indian Art, an exhibition that brings together a wide range of Indigenous world views, ideas, experiences, traditions, cultures, and media and emphasizes the continuity and evolution of Native arts, both collective and individual.  This two-hour, docent-led tour in American Sign Language (ASL) includes thematic examination of ceramic and glass sculpture, animal hides, and basketry.

The tour is May 18 from 10:00am-12:00pm with lunch to follow. Admission to the exhibition is $23.60 for nonmembers and free for members. Discounts may apply. The lunch provided after the tour is free. Registration will close on May 17, so be sure to register for the tour at this link today.
