We need your design talents and crafting skills to help make the centerpieces for the Annual Community Appreciation Day Event! On Friday, November 16th, we will be helping nutcrackers, toy soldiers, and ballerinas centerpieces come to life! We cannot do it without you!

"Experience Lumbee Folklore Stories told in American Sign Language (ASL)! Judy C. Stout is a member of the Lumbee Tribe, reared in Pembroke, N.C. She earned a masters degree in School Guidance from Gallaudet University, and she worked there for 28 years. She provides consultation on education, information, and referrals on Deaf and Hard of Hearing American Indians. Q&A session will follow. This program will include ASL interpreters." Blood Drive

The Greensboro DSDHH Regional Center is pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring a Blood Drive for the American Red Cross on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Interpreters will be provided and SSPs and transportation can be provided to Deaf-Blind consumers upon request.

It's that time of year again! Mark your calendars for the 14th Annual CSDHH and DSDHH Community Appreciation Event on Thursday, December 7th! All are welcomed!

We strongly encourage everyone to bring canned foods to donate to the emergency food pantry at the Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Davidson County, SDHHDC, in Lexington. 

Children and parents will register at the door. Children will have activities, games, and special guests visit their rooms!

Do not miss the festivities! Dinner will be provided for free! Take a moment to catch up with old friends, learn something new from our prepared presentations, and win big door prizes!

Get your Tokens Ready! Join CSDHH at Boxcar Bar + Arcade in downtown Greensboro to raise money for the Annual CSDHH & DSDHH Holiday Party! Enjoy a night out on the town with your favorite classic and modern games, a full bar, outdoor seating, dog-friendly environment and, of course, time with the ASL and Deaf community!

15% of all drink sales will be donated towards the Annual Holiday Party so game for a great cause! 

No Cover Charge to Enter!

Free popcorn served daily and local food trucks will be lined up outside!

This event welcomes children of any age with their parent/guardian anytime before 9pm, otherwise, strictly 21 years of age and older.

Deaf Tech Workshop

Apple will be hosting a Deaf Tech Workshop with two times to choose from: 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. The workshops will teach Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals about  accessible features on their Apple products i.e. iPhones, Mac laptops, tablets, etc that are specific to hearing loss. Features include LED visual alerts, iPhone apps, FaceTime, computer texting, screen flash alerts and more!

ASL Idol

ASL IDOL 2017 at UNCG

ASL Idol is a annual talent competition for advanced ASL students at UNCG to put on a show! Both novice ASL users and pros can come together for this one event to celebrate the Deaf community and the language!

Ticket sale proceeds will be donated to Camp Dogwood, a weekend long camp for Deaf/Blind individuals located near Lake Norman, NC. Enjoy a show for a cause!
