This month, the Charlotte HLAA chapter will host their virtual meeting over Zoom. They will have friends share their experiences leading up to and embracing listening with traditional hearing aids. Then, another friend and founding member of their chapter, the first in their group to receive a cochlear implant, will describe her experience as one of the first single-channel CI recipients in the country.
